Five questions for … Franz

Who are the people behind trbo? In our blog series, our employees introduce themselves – and answer five questions about themselves and their work. Today with our Recruiting Manager Franz Wiesmann.

1. How and when did you come to trbo?

I just started in June. A former colleague at my old workplace knew an employee at trbo, and it was with her that I had my first contact.

After the interview with Kira, it was clear that I really wanted to join trbo.

Best decision of my life … so far

2. What is your job at trbo?

I am a Recruiting Manager and make sure that we constantly get new, great colleagues. Currently I am building up a recruiting strategy for trbo, which will hopefully help us to find suitable candidates for trbo even faster and convince them to join us.

3. What would your ego have said 10 years ago about your current career choice?

My self 10 years ago would certainly not be disappointed. I didn’t have much of a plan back then and studied philosophy for the fun of it. Today, recruiting is an in-demand field, so I did everything right.

4. What has been the most embarrassing moment in your working life so far?

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head … maybe the black eye after a Christmas party, the sex-toy story, having two different pairs of pants ripped open twice in the same week, or explaining to my ex-boss on my first day at my new job what the difference between sexual identity and orientation is …

5. Is there anything you wouldn’t do for any money in the world?

Go to Starbucks, watch Star Wars Episode 1-3 again and say things like “Bundesgartenciao” or “San Frantschüsko.”
