trbo’s Marketing team grows – Gail joins as Marketing Manager and Copywriter

After Valentina Boe’s successful start in the marketing team, trbo is excited to bring another team member on board: Gail Wilcoxen joins as Marketing Manager – Copywriter.

Originally from Chicago, Gail studied English Literature and German Studies at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She spent her third year of college in Munich and moved to the Bavarian capital after completing her Bachelor of Arts degree. In the ten years since then, she has gained experience as a copywriter, editor and marketing content creator in various fields.

Gail brings expertise in branded content creation and branded storytelling to trbo. She has written for B2C brands such as BMW and American Express, as well as B2B companies in several different industries, including FinTech, MedTech and e-commerce. In her last role, she created and implemented a new brand voice for Cobrainer, a SaaS start-up in Munich that develops HR software.

“Storytelling is a huge part of my life, both professionally and personally,” she says. “We’re naturally drawn to good stories—it’s what makes us human.”

When she’s not at work, Gail is a bookworm, classic horror movie nerd and cat mom. She can’t sit still for too long though, as she was a competitive swimmer for over 15 years before finding her current sport — roller derby. (For those that don’t know: roller derby is a full-contact sport played on roller skates.)

We look forward to benefiting from Gail’s native English skills and hope to see a few pictures of her fat and furry cats soon!
