Reinforcement from Denmark – Ferenc Vass starts as junior frontend developer

New month, new employee. Just after the arrival of Daniel Vogtmannsberger, we are proud to announce the next addition to our team! Ferenc Vass is joining our technology department as a junior frontend developer.

The native Hungarian completed his bachelor’s degree in International Public Administration in Budapest. During that time, he has already noticed how practical the education in Denmark was, which led him to move there to complete his master’s degree in European Studies in Aalborg. After graduating he started an internship as a marketing analyst at the private Danish electricity provider Eniig. International job opportunities are limited in the far north of Denmark, which is why Ferenc decided to move to Copenhagen. Programming had long been a passion of his, and he was able to put his skills into practice in various projects and challenges. Looking for a permanent position in this field, Ferenc found what he was looking for at trbo. As he had already learned German in school in Hungary, moving to Germany has always been a part of his plans.

Covid-19 initially ruined his plans to relocate. Therefore, Ferenc started remotely as the first trbo employee in Denmark. Despite the long distance, everything went smoothly: “The team is very helpful and accommodating. I have a lot of information to process, so it’s actually good to start remotely – that gives me more time to sort through the input,” says the 29-year-old.

In his spare time, Ferenc loves to go bouldering with his friends. He also enjoys cooking Italian food – pizza is his favorite, he even bought a portable pizza oven. Apart from that, he likes to spend his time watching series and thus combines pleasure with something useful: since he enjoys watching series in German, he is simultaneously improving his German language skills. Programming is also not just work for him, but a leisure activity.

We are happy that Ferenc has found his way to trbo and that he had such a good remote start in Denmark! Welcome aboard!
