We had a lot going on last week. In addition to the K5, we had a booth at the Online-Karrieretag. The job fair started on June 6th shortly after 9 am – and was well attended right from the start. Interested applicants quickly crowded around our booth and we were able to have some exciting conversations.
As last year, we were not only represented with a booth but were also part of the program. This time we were even allowed to take part in two events. Our Account Manager Samuel was part of the workshop “Tips and Tricks of the Online Career Day Alumni” and our Head of Account Management Anna sat on stage in the panel “Corporate Culture in the Online Industry“.
Samuel provides tips for a successful Online-Karrieretag
Our Account Manager Samuel became aware of trbo during last year’s online career day. Since he successfully applied to us, he was able to report on his experiences in a workshop. He talked about his preparations for the online career day and how he found his dream job at trbo. One of the tips Samuel gave the visitors was to bring his resume to the Career Day. This way, the companies can see all important knowledge at first glance and directly find a suitable position.
What can the online industry do in terms of corporate culture?
In the afternoon Anna, our Head of Account Management, was part of a panel on the topic “Top salary, soccer table and nice colleagues – what can the online industry do when it comes to corporate culture”. At the end of the interview everyone agreed: Team spirit is extremely important – no need for a stupid soccer table. We don’t have one at trbo – but we do have a beer pong table ;).
Many exciting conversations at the booth
In addition to many spontaneous visitors, many applicants approached us specifically. The crowd was especially large after the two presentations. Samuel’s charm and Anna’s enthusiasm for our corporate culture were particularly convincing.
The day was rounded off with pizza and beer for all present exhibitors. The perfect end of such a successful day!
Many thanks to everyone who visited us and showed interest in trbo – we are already looking forward to welcoming some new colleagues soon!
