Five questions to…Jihad

Who are the people representing trbo? In our blog series, our employees introduce themselves – and answer five questions about themselves and their work. Today they are accompanied by our Client Success Manager Jihad Habiballah.

1. How and when did you join trbo?

I came across trbo by chance. I graduated in 2020 and was looking for a permanent job. I applied to a few online marketing jobs. During my research I saw the job “Trainee Account Manager” at trbo and I thought the company looked very interesting. But to be honest, at that time I didn’t understand much about the advertised tasks. I applied and after a few days I got a call. The call turned out to be great and I  immediately knew that I belonged to trbo. Now I’ve been with trbo since September 2020.

2. What is your job at trbo?

As a Client Success Manager, I try my best to act as an interface between our customers and our Technical Support. I always try to support our clients strategically and operationally to optimize their shops and get the best out of our tool. Also, as SPOC for onboarding, I make sure that our new colleagues get an optimal onboarding and the most important know-how from our old hands.

3. What would your ten year old self say about your current career choice?

My self 10 years ago would have been confused on the one hand and proud on the other.Confused, since I actually wanted to go to Germany to study medicine and then run away back home after graduation. And proud, because despite the challenge, be it with the change of studies or at the beginning with the German language, I still live happily in Munich and work in a very cool team in a great company.

4. What don’t your colleagues know about you so far?

I think some already may know: I’m REALLY afraid of spiders! And also that I can’t swim (I don’t like it and never wanted to learn).

5. What has been the most embarrassing moment in your working life so far?

When I was a working student, I was all alone in the office one day. I stupidly wanted to be funny on social media and posted a story. It was a video of the office with the comment “All alone, let the far-ting party start.”

However, what I forgot was that my boss and supervisor followed me. They saw the story and responded directly to it. They thought it was funny, but I was still embarrassed.

Additional question: What was your dream job as a child?

To be honest, I always wanted to be a soccer player. In fact, I already have been on a very good path towards that. I even played for Maccabi Haifa’s youth team (some soccer fans here will definitely know the team).Unfortunately, my parents didn’t support me a lot at the time and wanted me to concentrate on my studies. Besides, I discovered my love for potatoes very early, which gave me the best belly in the world. 😀
