Who are the people behind trbo? In our blog series, our employees introduce themselves \u2013 and answer five questions about themselves and their work. Today with our Solution Consultant Daniel Thiele.<\/strong><\/p>\n I am a part of the \u201cOKT armada\u201d (Online-Karrieretag\/online career day). After a very nice conversation with Anna Knarr, I hadn’t even gotten around to sorting through the contacts I had made there when I already received an email from trbo about how to proceed. The dynamic really impressed me and thus I, at that time without any significant tech background, dared to jump into the deep end. If not for that effort, I probably would have gone in a \u201csafe\u201d direction (matching my previous career path). But now I’ve been with the company for two and a half years, and I’m happier than ever with how things worked out back then.<\/span><\/p>\n Initially, I was part of the Client Success team for 2 years. More recently, I’ve been acting as a consultant for our customers without a fixed client base. In this role, I develop individual concepts tailored to their needs, e.g., workshops or additional support packages, with the goal of ensuring that our tool is used in the best possible way. I also support the sales team with product demos. All these tasks are called \u201cSolution Consultant\u201d at trbo and that’s my job now \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n He would have pointed his finger at me and started laughing out loud: \u201cYou and technology? This plan will definitely end with a trip to the job center! You can’t even install a standard program on a computer without an accident\u2026\u201d Yes, my 10 years younger self was slightly spiteful at times \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n If it had not been ordered by the state, I would not have voluntarily surrendered to a lockdown for any money in the world, as happened last year. Unfortunately I had to do it anyway (not alone at least) \u2013 and that for free \ud83d\ude41 In South Africa, I \u201cjumped\u201d from the highest bungee point in the world. To be more precise, I was rather pushed, since I would NEVER have made the jump myself. In free fall, I tried using my arms as wings and grabbed onto the legs of the worker in charge so tightly during the retrieval, that one could only feel sorry for me. Actually, there’s a video of the whole thing online, too \u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n During my first job, at windeln.de SE, I had a very busy day, and I made myself really push through the tasks. After all, especially at a young age, you want to prove and push yourself to the forefront through tireless effort. It was about 9:30 pm when I took a short break and laid my head on the table for a moment, feeling exhausted. At that exact moment, one of the founders of windeln.de passed by my seat and thought I was asleep in the office.
