It is anchored on the company&#8217;s domain, for example: <em>www.company.com\/landing-page<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A landing page usually consists of a single page, sometimes even without continuative links. The design of the landing page is usually based on the corporate design of the entire website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In marketing, a landing page is used to induce a user to perform an action after clicking on a link or a <a href=\"https:\/\/trbo.com\/en\/glossary\/call-to-action-cta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">call to action<\/a>. There are different ways on how landing pages are linked:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">via an advertisement (e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/trbo.com\/en\/glossary\/search-engine-advertising\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SEA<\/a>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">via online shop campaigns (e.g. banners)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">via email marketing (call to action in a newsletter)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">via <a href=\"https:\/\/trbo.com\/en\/glossary\/search-engine-optimization\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">organic search results<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">via social media<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After being redirected to the corresponding landing page, the customer should find the appropriate information or products in order to encourage interaction on the page. There are different objectives for this type of pages, including for example the increase in sales (<a href=\"https:\/\/trbo.com\/en\/glossary\/conversion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">conversions<\/a>) or <a href=\"https:\/\/trbo.com\/en\/glossary\/lead-generation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lead generation<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Therefore, a landing page should be tailored exactly to the needs of the customer:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The user finds the corresponding information or products which have been announced in the advertising material.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The interest in the product or the information is further increased.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The landing page allows the user to easily access the relevant information without much effort.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There are many different functions that a landing page can perform. Basically, however, it should always fulfil a marketing purpose and thus be tailored to a specific target group.
