In einer Customer Data Platform (CDP) werden Daten aus unterschiedlichen Datenquellen in ein System zusammengef\u00fchrt. Die Nutzung einer CDP erm\u00f6glicht es so, aus verschiedenen Datenpunkten ein einheitliches Kundenprofil zu erstellen. Diese Kundenprofile k\u00f6nnen wiederum in angebundenen Kan\u00e4len f\u00fcr eine ganzheitliche Kundenansprache genutzt werden. Im Normalfall werden hierf\u00fcr aus den individuellen Profilen sinnvolle Segmente erstellt, die Plattform wird also auch f\u00fcr eine Segmentierung genutzt.<\/p>\n

Als Datenquellen k\u00f6nnen sowohl Informationen aus dem station\u00e4ren, aus auch aus dem digitalen Handel genutzt werden. Beispiele f\u00fcr solche Quellen sind: CRM, Social Media, ESP (Email Service Provider), Search aber nat\u00fcrlich auch Onsite-Daten, u.v.m.<\/p>\n
